Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, design, and evaluation of electrical components and systems, utilizing advanced electrical engineering principles.
- Develop and design electrical equipment and systems for various applications, including commercial and industrial sectors.
- Lead the engineering team in the fabrication of testing apparatus and establish protocols for product testing.
- Address moderately complex technical issues and escalate more intricate problems to senior staff.
- Apply engineering expertise to install, support, and repair technological systems in field environments.
- Analyze user requirements and modify existing systems to enhance functionality.
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive service manuals and provide training to users on-site.
- Work under general supervision while managing moderately complex challenges.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in installing and upgrading shipboard communication systems.
- Background in performing repairs to restore equipment and systems to operational status.
- Technical support experience related to the design and testing of maritime communication systems.
- Ability to collaborate with shipboard personnel and engineers to prepare systems for installation and troubleshooting.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Current security clearance or the ability to obtain one is essential.
- Willingness to travel for project support is required.
- Familiarity with Telephony and Voice over IP systems, including installation and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and briefings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Knowledge of testing instruments and their application in communication systems.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time is expected.
