Job Title: Lead Teacher, Funded Preschool

CORA Services Inc. is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team in a funded preschool setting. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing educational lesson plans, guiding assistant teachers, and monitoring the growth and development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Guide assistant teachers and classroom support staff to ensure they are following planned activities and standards.
  • Monitor the growth and development of children based on established learning objectives using provided assessment tools.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents and maintain frequent communication about student growth and progress.
  • Participate in Early Years special events, activities, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
  • Minimum of two years of documented experience working in a classroom setting with an early childhood population.
  • Experience working with Pre-K Counts/PHL Pre-K a plus.
  • Passion and skill for working with children.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
