Military Family Behavioral Counselor

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC). This is a Full-Time opportunity that focuses on delivering essential behavioral health services to military personnel and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary function of this role is to offer face-to-face counseling services tailored to the unique needs of military service members and their families.
MFLC counselors engage in supportive counseling that addresses various aspects of life, including:- Living conditions
- Life skills enhancement
- Relationship improvement at home and work
- Stress management techniques
- Adjustment challenges, particularly those related to deployment
- Marital issues
- Parenting concerns
- Feelings of fear, grief, and loss
Additionally, counselors will collaborate with installation command staff to conduct health and wellness presentations and training sessions focused on behavioral health matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a Behavioral Health field (MS/MSW/MA)
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted counseling license or certification in North Dakota
- Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC; candidates under supervision are not eligible
- Understanding of military culture and experience working with military families
- Ability to independently create, implement, and assess safety and intervention plans
- U.S. Citizenship and fluency in English are required
- Ability to pass all necessary background and suitability checks
Preferred Experience:
- Prior military service or being a military family member
- Strong familiarity with military culture
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
