Position Overview:
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC). This is a Full-Time opportunity that focuses on delivering essential behavioral health services to military personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary function of this role is to offer face-to-face counseling services tailored to the unique needs of military service members and their families.

MFLC counselors engage in supportive counseling that addresses various aspects of life, including:
  • Living conditions
  • Life skills enhancement
  • Relationship improvement at home and work
  • Stress management techniques
  • Adjustment challenges, particularly those related to deployment
  • Marital issues
  • Parenting concerns
  • Feelings of fear, grief, and loss

Additionally, counselors will collaborate with installation command staff to conduct health and wellness presentations and training sessions focused on behavioral health matters.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health field (MS/MSW/MA)
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted counseling license or certification in North Dakota
  • Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC; candidates under supervision are not eligible
  • Understanding of military culture and experience working with military families
  • Ability to independently create, implement, and assess safety and intervention plans
  • U.S. Citizenship and fluency in English are required
  • Ability to pass all necessary background and suitability checks

Preferred Experience:
  • Prior military service or being a military family member
  • Strong familiarity with military culture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
