The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Facilities Operations Manager to join our Farm Operations leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our farms are always operating and performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a proactive predictive maintenance program and CMMS to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Drive PM and Work Order completion rates to meet business expectations and deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and Maintenance, to ensure production lines run safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Team, including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and quality measurement.
  • Develop and implement maintenance routines, service bulletins, and documentation to support equipment life cycle management.
  • Identify and procure critical spare parts to prevent extended downtime situations.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to the Maintenance Team to troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations.
  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance logs to support food safety certification.
Requirements
  • Education or experience equivalent to B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent time in Maintenance Leadership roles.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience working on a maintenance team supporting automated production lines.
  • Experience leading technicians or other technical resources.
  • Demonstrated track record of creating processes from scratch and improving existing processes within a Maintenance department.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to meet tight timelines and solve issues in collaboration with others.
  • Experience with PLC navigation.
  • Willingness to work days, afternoons, nights, and weekends as determined by project needs.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in produce freezer environments, as low as 32 degrees.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
