Your Responsibilities:
- Design and develop operational procedures, tools, and methodologies to facilitate the introduction of new products.
- Implement strategic plans for launching new features while prioritizing manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize Six Sigma and Lean methodologies in partnership with plant management to drive improvements.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and lead Kaizen events to foster operational enhancements.
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Work closely with design teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs.
- Coordinate with external engineering resources for process optimization and assembly guidance.
- Oversee the development of facilities and tooling to ensure readiness for product introductions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the automotive or heavy-duty truck sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean principles, and visual management techniques.
- Experience with time studies and line balancing methodologies.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with design software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks Composer, and NX Unigraphics is advantageous.
