Job Title: Plumbing Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to ensure that all plumbing installations and alterations in buildings and structures comply with city, county, state, and federal codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect plumbing installations and alterations to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of plumbing plans examiners and inspectors.
  • Examine specifications, blueprints, and plans to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Inspect plumbing installations, including work and materials, used in new construction, additions, alterations, or repairs to existing systems.
  • Exercise right of entry to any building, structure, or premises for inspection or to prevent violations of the code.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or possesses an acceptable equivalency diploma.
  • Must be able to meet the certification requirements of the Miami Dade County Board of Rules and Appeals.
  • Certified or able to be certified by the Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board, State of Florida.
  • Possess a valid state of Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
