We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Specialist to become a vital part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, execution, and enhancement of production methodologies across our facilities. This position provides the chance to engage in complex projects, work alongside diverse teams, and drive ongoing improvements in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of manufacturing methodologies, including process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and production timelines.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implement effective solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams (including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production) to ensure that new methodologies align with quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Incorporate Lean/Six Sigma principles and Continuous Improvement practices in all initiatives.
    * Lead projects aimed at enhancing equipment and processes within the manufacturing sector.
    * Monitor operational efficiency metrics (e.g., throughput, scrap rates) to recommend adjustments and/or corrective actions to achieve operational objectives.
  • Support the validation of equipment and processes, including drafting protocols, conducting tests, and analyzing results.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related discrepancies.
  • Document processes and maintain precise records of modifications, enhancements, and outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in process engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 0-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering setting (internships or co-op experience considered).
  • Strong grasp of process design principles, process validation, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for process design and familiarity with process simulation tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex issues independently or collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to present technical information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
