We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Sr. Land Development Project Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team at Jobot.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful delivery of land development projects.
  • Plan, design, and supervise the construction of residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Apply Responsive Design principles and techniques to create adaptable plans that meet our clients' needs and expectations.
  • Oversee the production of plans on-site, ensuring that all engineering work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Utilize Civil 3D to create detailed and accurate models of land development projects.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that all milestones are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Continually assess and improve our land development processes and methodologies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • An active Tennessee P.E. license.
  • Proven experience in managing land development projects, including residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Expertise in Responsive Design and on-site engineering.
  • Proficiency in using Civil 3D to create detailed and accurate models.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • A strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Possess and demonstrate the engineering knowledge and understanding to perform all aspects of site development engineering, including site layout, grading & drainage, stormwater detention, sanitary sewer, water distribution, erosion protection and sediment control, roadway design, and traffic control.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly.
  • A commitment to continual learning and development, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
