Job Summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist II PRN Pediatrics Home Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Home Care Services team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, fluency, auditory (re)habilitation, and swallowing/oral feeding disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, fluency, auditory (re)habilitation, and swallowing/oral feeding disorders.
  • Provide independent therapeutic services and identify area(s) of clinical specialization and competency.
  • Supervise graduate students as assigned in clinical specialty area.
  • Participate actively in identifying and conducting quality improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical practice team to achieve patient outcomes and system objectives.
Requirements
  • Speech Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certification in Speech Pathology
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience (outside of clinicals)
  • Valid drivers license
Working Conditions

This position requires driving to patients' homes to provide care. The ideal candidate will have experience with Medical Feeding of fragile infants.
