Job Summary

The Home Health Speech Language Pathologist PRN is a key member of our team at FC Compassus LLC, responsible for delivering high-quality speech and language services to our clients. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients with a range of communication disorders, including aphasia, dysarthria, and apraxia of speech.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication skills and develop goals to improve their ability to communicate effectively.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Supervise and provide clinical direction to Home Health Aides/UPs as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a home health setting required.
  • Active and unencumbered Speech Language Pathologist license in state(s) of employment required.
