Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview

We adhere to a strict 75-mile radius rule for submissions. Only candidates with an active nursing license in the relevant state will be considered. It is essential that all time-off requests are disclosed during the initial submission process. Late requests for time off after acceptance will not be accommodated.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of current experience in a large operating room setting. Experience in orthopedic, ENT, or vascular specialties is advantageous. A successful travel history with at least one completed 13-week assignment is required. Teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are crucial.

Certifications: BLS certification is mandatory, while PALS and ACLS certifications are preferred. All certifications must be obtained through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Shift Details: Night shifts are standard, with potential fluctuations to meet staffing needs. Weekend, on-call, and holiday shifts may be necessary. Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and may be required to work at alternate locations within a 20-mile radius.

Orientation: The orientation period will occur during the first week of the contract, lasting no more than 40 hours, and will include EPIC training.

Scrubs: For RNs, any solid color scrubs are acceptable, with the requirement that the top, pants, and jacket (if worn) match in color.
