Job Summary

Rogue Community College is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant Instructor to join our team. As a clinical and lab educator, you will work with students to provide quality instruction and assessments in a classroom, lab, and clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Implement Board-approved curriculum content in clinical sites, labs, and classrooms.
  • Instruct and assess nursing assistant students in a classroom, lab, learning center, or clinical site.
  • Represent the program and college to the community, business, public agencies, and other organizations in a professional manner.
  • Work with the Training Service Coordinator to ensure departmental equipment, supplies, and education materials are conducive to teaching and learning.
  • Provide a positive, supportive learning environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license.
  • Must have at least one year of LPN or RN experience.
  • Ability to be approved by OSBN in the role of 'Clinical Teaching Associate for Nursing Assistant programs.'
Working Conditions

The work environment is primarily indoors, within a classroom or office environment. The employee may also work within a long-term care facility, and/or acute care setting, and/or an affiliated high school campus, off campus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and lighting is adequate.
