Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the dishwashing machine with necessary components such as grates, detergent, drying agents, and water.
  • Sort waste materials, separating garbage from compostable scraps.
  • Scrape off food residues from dishes as required.
  • Pre-rinse dishes and glassware to facilitate effective cleaning.
  • Soak silverware as per instructions.
  • Maintain an efficient workflow to keep up with the demand for clean dishes and utensils.
  • Operate the dish machine using full racks only.
  • Engage in additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Practice safe work habits, focusing on sanitation, safety, and minimizing waste.
  • Follow proper procedures for shutting down the dish machine at the end of the shift.
  • Perform sweeping and mopping of the kitchen floor as necessary.
  • Comply with policies outlined in the employee handbook and departmental guidelines.
  • Complete any other tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
