Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, and the mission and goals of eCommunity. The Registered Nurse will manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete admissions assessments (behavioral and physical) to ensure accurate patient information
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and treatment options
  • Administer medications and educate patients on proper use
  • Teach therapeutic coping skills to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements

  • Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • RN experience preferred but will consider new graduates
