Job Description

IMS People is looking for a highly motivated Scientific Technician Specialist to join our team. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field. Previous experience in a laboratory setting and knowledge of lab safety protocols are highly desirable.

About the Position

This role involves running tests on moisture, salt, and oil for tortillas and pretzels. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research, conducting trials/experiments, gathering data, and reporting findings on moderately complex assignments/projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performs a variety of duties requiring the application of technical knowledge using established processes/protocols.
  • Often responsible for training and/or coaching other permanent or temp employees.

What We Offer

A competitive estimated salary of $55,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
