Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of plant maintenance procedures, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues, using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment records.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and process instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of 480V C3 motor starters, variable frequency drives, and distribution systems.
  • Documented training in welding, fabrication, and metalworking.
  • Experience with reverse osmosis, carbon filtration, and wastewater treatment systems.
