Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customer satisfaction within the banking center, addressing and resolving customer concerns in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the operational performance of the financial center by ensuring adherence to key risk management practices, including monitoring teller discrepancies, operational losses, and compliance with audit protocols.
  • Maintain control over cash handling processes, ensuring compliance with all security and audit standards.
  • Supervise the scheduling and workflow of teller staff to optimize service delivery.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide necessary coaching and development.
  • Identify training needs and establish performance improvement plans.
  • Promote bank products and services through cross-selling and referrals to enhance business relationships.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate new policies and foster continuous staff development.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations of product features, changes, and requirements to both customers and team members.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency and compliance in the teller line operations.
  • Adhere to all audit and security protocols during operational hours and at the opening and closing of the banking office.
  • Manage the inventory of cash and other financial instruments with strict dual control measures.
  • Oversee daily ATM balancing and processing, including necessary audits.
  • Verify deposits from night and lobby depositories.
  • Alert team members to any signs of fraud or suspicious activities.
  • Secure all transaction records and equipment at the end of each workday.
  • Monitor and manage teller cash limits and overall branch cash levels.
  • Ensure daily cash reconciliation for the branch.
  • Assist with vault responsibilities in accordance with dual control standards.
  • Exercise sound judgment in transaction overrides for tellers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Prior experience in a teller role is advantageous.
