We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Project Manager to join our team at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Project Budgets: Create and manage project budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track and Record Expenditures: Monitor and record all expenditures for a project, including labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and consulting fees.
- Manage Budgets and Ensure Financial Forecasts: Ensure that projects stay within budget and meet financial forecasts by establishing and maintaining project budget tracking systems.
- Collaborate with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers to develop financial plans and provide financial insights.
- Prepare Tax Returns and Conduct Audits: Prepare tax returns and conduct audits to ensure that financial practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with Subcontractors and Vendors: Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure invoicing is submitted as per contractual terms.
- Maintain Records and Track Progress: Maintain records of meetings, open items, and decisions, and track and report on the status of project completion progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance: A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or similar experience.
- Project Accounting Experience: Five (5) or more years of project accounting experience.
- Microsoft Excel and Industry Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with relevant construction industry software.
