Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services in our healthcare team. As a key member of our team, you will assist patients with daily living activities, take vital signs, and maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, in a compassionate and respectful manner.
  • Take and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and document information in our electronic health record system.
  • Prepare patients for meals, serve food, and assist with feeding as needed, demonstrating a commitment to patient comfort and well-being.
  • Transport patients to and from designated areas of the hospital, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Retrieve medications from the pharmacy and deliver them to the nurse, following established protocols and procedures.
Quality
  • Expedite patient call lights, assist with personal hygiene, and maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to our high standards of quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in unit quality assurance programs, providing input for end-of-shift reports and contributing to the enhancement of our services.
  • Utilize equipment, supplies, and resources efficiently, ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services and promoting a culture of excellence.
Collaboration & Partnership
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and special tests and procedures, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Collect patient specimens and transport them to the lab, adhering to our strict standards of quality and patient safety.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a CNA or Medical Assistant training program.
  • Current CNA licensure and CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
