Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Barback to join our team at Sandia Resort & Casino. As a Barback, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bars and lounge areas. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to our bartenders and beverage servers, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring that all equipment and supplies are readily available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist bartenders and beverage servers in delivering exceptional service to guests by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide the bar and/or casino floor drink station areas with supplies and provide the bartenders and/or beverage servers with items upon request.
  • Clean and maintain all bar equipment, including glass washers, chillers, and draft systems.
  • Restock supplies, including liquor, beer, fruit, ice, cups, napkins, and glassware, as needed.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to ensure proper communication and coordination with the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with coverage for bartenders and servers during breaks.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Six (6) months experience in food and/or beverage field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 150 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Working Conditions

Work is performed indoors and outdoors, subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. Must be available to work required schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime as needed.
