Audiology Extern Job Description

At Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our audiology team as an extern. This is an entry-level full-time 12-month position for students in their fourth year of an accredited doctoral program (Au.D.).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical audiologic services through a broad range of diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed and certified CMH audiologist.
  • Obtain education, training, and instruction needed to acquire the skills to function independently.
  • Participate in activities to increase the quality, efficiency, and outcomes of patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of third year and current enrollment in fourth year of an accredited AuD Program with which CMH&C has a current university affiliation agreement.
  • No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.

Starting Pay:

The pay range for this job begins at $20.27/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home:

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
