Job Title: Associate Chief Operating Officer

At Jackson Health System, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Chief Operating Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing administrative oversight, planning, and leadership for all aspects of our ancillary operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational and financial performance metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness in assigned areas.
  • Partner with hospital senior leadership to deploy, grow, and sustain ancillary operations, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and objectives.
  • Communicate issues and recommendations to leadership and front-line staff, driving improvements in hospital facilities and services.
  • Support and execute process improvement projects to enhance business results, facilitating timely and effective communication among departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal legislation affecting divisional operations.
  • Manage single professional practice standards for Jackson Health System.
  • Inform the COO on the status of operations and support the development of long-range strategic plans.
  • Undertake special projects as requested by the CEO, attracting and retaining strong talent to achieve business results.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of related experience, with leadership experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership techniques.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs, establish goals and objectives, and recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
