Job Summary

As a NA Seed Quality Lab Manager at Syngenta Seeds, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality testing laboratory's operations to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, procedures, and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive organizational and resource planning strategies for the laboratory, encompassing both seasonal and long-term (1-3 year) horizons.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to be monitored and evaluated as part of the seasonal management cycle.
  • Ensure Laboratory Capacity: Ensure the availability of the required number of externally accredited labor for seasonal workloads and oversee the attainment and maintenance of individual accreditations.
  • Collaborate with Global Experts: Collaborate with global or regional subject matter experts and projects to develop new testing methodologies.
  • Develop Service Level Agreements: Develop and maintain service level agreements with customers in accordance with regional guidance.
  • Lead HSE Initiatives: Demonstrate HSE leadership by promoting safe behavior throughout the organization.
Requirements

This role requires a strong background in laboratory management, quality assurance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing organizational and resource planning strategies, defining key performance indicators, and ensuring laboratory capacity.
