Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a Retail Associate, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, ensuring a positive and engaging environment in our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing product information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and that stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, stockroom tasks, and special projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
