Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care
- Administer medication and perform treatments while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients assigned to you, maintaining accurate and complete records of nursing assessment and care.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in in-service programs, education programs, and orientation of new personnel.
- Leadership and Teamwork
- Provide leadership and promote teamwork among healthcare professionals.
- Participate in hospital committees and demonstrate flexibility in the dynamic critical care environment.
- Education and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years prior Critical Care experience preferred.
- Completion of a hospital designated critical care course within six months of hire.
- License/Certificates
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire.
- American Heart Association ACLS required within 4 months of hire.
- PALS required within 1 year of hire.
