The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the finance sector and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess the effectiveness of financial strategies and adjust tactics to enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Professional Development, to formulate monthly strategies, quarterly objectives, and annual plans for clients.
  • Lead initiatives for major financial strategies, budgeting, system management, and financial controls for clients.
  • Optimize and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, budgets, forecasts, and charts of accounts for clients.
  • Oversee the budgeting process, revenue forecasting, and financial review for assigned clients.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reporting packages, activity reports, and forecasts for clients.
  • Design incentive compensation plans for client team members.
  • Work with clients to establish both short-term and long-term financial objectives.
  • Deliver financial summaries and insights to Cardone Ventures' Leadership Team and clients.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Thorough understanding of all financial aspects of a client's business and how they relate to overall financial strategy and current standing.
  • Ability to analyze revenue streams, gross margin rates, and profitability by product to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Capability to assist clients in decision-making based on margin rates, labor costs, cash flow, and financial obligations.
  • Familiarity with the month-end closing process and ability to guide clients through necessary steps.
  • Expertise in developing complex financial models, budgets, and reporting packages.
  • Proficient in analyzing financial data and statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows) to shape business financial strategies.
  • Understanding of client budgets and team roles to create performance-based incentive plans.
  • Ability to provide financial recommendations that enhance client business growth and profitability.
  • Knowledge of cash versus accrual accounting concepts and their implications.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel functions and formulas for data analysis and efficiency.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a consulting role.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
