Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endocrinology Clinic team in Spokane. As a Per Diem RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient flow and manage daily scheduling according to resources and patient demand.
  • Provide clinical resource support to team members and case management for designated patients within focused populations.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including infusion therapy, medication administration, and nursing treatments.
  • Conduct independent nursing visits according to approved protocols and in collaboration with medical providers.
  • Provide triage and advice according to approved protocols and consult with practitioners and administrative leadership.
Medical Specialties

The Medical Specialty RN works with populations of patients to coordinate, manage, and evaluate care. Coordinate multi-disciplinary team resources to support care of complex patients.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Using the nursing process, provides ongoing assessment of the nursing care needs of a defined group of patients.
  • Develops a written plan of care for patient care needs and assists patients and families/significant others in developing health care goals.
  • Determines priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available resources.
  • Provides nursing interventions safely and competently and provides the patient and family/significant others with information preceding interventions.
  • Provides ongoing evaluation of the patients response to care and anticipates and recognizes changes in the patients status and need for nursing care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse License (Washington) required at hire OR Compact License.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • Communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing.
  • Ambulatory care nursing experience.
  • Primary nursing or case-management experience.
