Job Title: Lab Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Operations Director to join our team at Insight Global. This is a unique opportunity to lead the laboratory operations of two mid-sized hospitals and a cancer center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the technical activities of the laboratory, including financial, human resource, and quality management.
  • Supervise and coordinate the laboratory's operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the laboratory and the campus.
  • Develop and implement budget and statistical records related to laboratory operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences.
  • Valid registration as a Medical Technologist or equivalent, or meets CLIA88 requirements for high complexity testing.
  • 5+ years of Lab Operations Management experience.
  • Exceptional communication and soft skills.
  • General knowledge of laboratory technology in all disciplines and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in laboratory sciences.
  • ASCP certification.
