Staff Nurse Family Care Center

Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse Family Care Center is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages, from birth to the end of life, in a family-centered environment. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan of care, incorporating evidence-based practices and individualized patient needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care activities, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or Multistate License.
- BLS certification.
- One year of experience in a hospital setting (for PRN positions).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in a specialty area (if applicable).
