Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the operating room during the designated shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the operating room.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/BSN
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Operating Room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
  • Two year supervisor experience.
  • Additional specialty experience may be required as per facility practices (i.e. Pediatric, GI, etc).
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Required valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
  • ACLS, PALS and/or other as required for patient care area and by facility.
