Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL experience to join our team.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting life sciences analytical use cases by querying and analyzing a wide range of healthcare data sources, including claims, lab results, electronic medical records (EMR), and other real-world data.

Your expertise in SQL and data analysis will contribute to enhancing our understanding of healthcare trends, optimizing patient care, and driving evidence-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Query and analyze large volumes of healthcare data from diverse sources, including claims, lab results, EMR, and real-world data sets, to support life sciences analytical use cases.
  2. Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and transform data for analysis and reporting purposes.
  3. Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process.
  4. Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data mappings, and data lineage, to ensure data transparency and accessibility.
  5. Create visually compelling reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate analytical findings and insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience working in the healthcare/life science industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline or equivalent real-world experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and developing SQL queries.
  • 2+ years of experience working within any programming language.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, with a proactive and self-driven approach.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience working with Real-World Data.
  • Experience working with AWS Redshift.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 – 100,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
