Job Overview

The Resilience Rehabilitation organization is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team in providing exceptional care to clients in a residential setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure environment that enhances treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care to clients, promoting their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
  • Conduct regular rounds and log client interactions, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, manage behavioral issues, and provide crisis intervention support when necessary.
  • Record observations and chart progress, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records and information.
  • Transport clients to appointments, clinics, and outings as required.
  • Foster a clean and sanitary environment by adhering to established safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A valid Health Screening with TB test results.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a residential treatment setting.
  • Prior experience working in residential treatment or willingness to train the right candidate.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • CPR certification.
  • RADT certification (or willingness to obtain within two weeks of hire).
  • Food Handlers Certification (or willingness to obtain within two weeks of hire).

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to ensure our employees are fairly compensated for their hard work and dedication.
