About the Position

The Automotive Assistant/Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the repair shop. This includes scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs that exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, as well as basic math and PC skills. They will also possess basic supervisory/leadership skills to effectively manage the team.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule mechanics/technicians' work and ensure timely completion of jobs
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Lead and manage the service team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
