Job Description

About the Role

This is a customer-facing position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. As an Account Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for customers of Equiniti Unify, providing education and support regarding unclaimed property and account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with account owners or legal entitled parties to discuss at-risk accounts and provide guidance on the reunification process.
  • Explain the process of recovering and/or updating at-risk accounts and the services Equiniti can provide.
  • Receive and respond to inbound calls, educating callers on the purpose of documentation and offering reunification services.
  • Place outbound calls to customers to correct paperwork submitted incorrectly.
  • Understand and communicate Equiniti's transfer requirements related to asset distribution from various account types.
  • Prioritize and manage case inventory.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services and/or securities industry.
  • Experience in customer service and/or inside sales strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of escheatment law preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

$20.00 - $22.00 hourly
