Compensation Package

This part-time position comes with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $30.00 to $35.50, based on location and experience.

Job Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Genesis HealthCare, you will be an integral member of our clinical team, providing exceptional care to patients and residents. Your role will involve delivering efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

You will evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition. Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, and supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders, contributing to a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment that includes physicians, social workers, dieticians, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing
  • Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure
  • Experience preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility
