Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure a safe environment of care.
  • Accurately record and report work performed.
  • Access roof areas, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels, crawl spaces, and other minimally accessible areas on a daily basis.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and facilities.
  • Work with contractors; read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform general industrial maintenance, including fabrication, installation, and inspections of equipment and devices.
  • May include service or repair work on plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, motors, pumps, electrical systems, pneumatic tube, lighting, flooring, window coverings, walls, and other systems.
  • Perform periodic inspections of buildings and make recommendations on needed repairs, installation, etc.
  • Adhere to trade practices and codes.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
  • 3 years' experience in a related field.
