Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Harmony United Psychiatric Care. As a Postdoctoral Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy services, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based modalities.
- Administer and interpret neuropsychological and neurocognitive tests to assess cognitive function and identify areas of impairment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- Experience in conducting neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing is preferred
- No license is required for the candidate
- Work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred
Compensation and Benefits
- $45 per billable hour
- Group malpractice insurance
- The company provides testing materials
Work Schedule and Employment Type
- As an Independent Contractor, you will have the choice to determine your working hours
- Offices are open Monday - Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments
- Availability to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday
- Option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment
