Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Harmony United Psychiatric Care. As a Postdoctoral Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy services, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based modalities.
  • Administer and interpret neuropsychological and neurocognitive tests to assess cognitive function and identify areas of impairment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  • Document services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Experience in conducting neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing is preferred
  • No license is required for the candidate
  • Work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • $45 per billable hour
  • Group malpractice insurance
  • The company provides testing materials

Work Schedule and Employment Type

  • As an Independent Contractor, you will have the choice to determine your working hours
  • Offices are open Monday - Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments
  • Availability to work via telemedicine Friday-Sunday
  • Option to work 50% telemedicine from the beginning of employment
