POSITION SUMMARY: The 91 COS is seeking a dedicated professional to enhance the development, maintenance, and instruction of standardized cyber operations utilizing TNO platforms in support of Combatant Commanders globally. This role aims to equip operations personnel with comprehensive training courses that elevate the Mission Qualification Training (MQT) of crew members. The course materials will be tailored to familiarize trainees with TNO operations across current and future platforms, with increasing complexity aligned to crew responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operational Analysis: Deliver precise, timely, and thorough analysis of mission data, providing all-source intelligence support to operations. This includes assisting Offensive Cyberspace Analytical Support and 91 COS personnel in their daily functions, potentially requiring extended hours during operational surges.
  • Network Behavior Analysis: Utilize statistical deviation levels from tools analyzing network behavior and stability to establish identifiable norms and deviations.
  • Training and Presentation: Present analytical results to operators and train them to recognize operational changes that may impact mission success.
  • Situational Awareness: Create visual displays that convey situational awareness and assess engagement effectiveness for operational crews using all-source intelligence research methods.
  • Intelligence Support: Provide all-source intelligence assistance for Mission Analysis, Current Operations, Operations Training (scenario development), and Weapons and Tactics.
  • Data Integrity: Collaborate with the principal analyst to ensure timely and accurate data analysis, maintaining retrievability for long-term research.
  • Database Collaboration: Work with database and programming support personnel to ensure data accuracy, availability, and integrity.
  • Adversary Analysis: Analyze current all-source intelligence regarding adversary telecommunication and computer network systems, providing analytical reports and integrating findings into comprehensive reports and briefings.
  • Execution Support: Assist crews and analysts in determining efficient execution methods against adversary networks.
  • Intelligence Requirements: Identify and document priority intelligence requirements (PIR).
  • Post-Mission Analysis: Aid crews in post-mission reporting and analysis by compiling data with technical all-source intelligence to evaluate system performance and recommend procedural improvements.
  • Telecommunications Expertise: Provide expertise in integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting telecommunications and computer networks, including documentation of various layers of the ISO Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference model.
  • Connectivity Understanding: Comprehend the connectivity between different equipment types.
  • Technical Reporting: Write detailed technical reports concerning telecommunications, RF signaling, computer networking, and network security.
  • Data Retrieval: Under Service Cryptologic Element authority, retrieve and report information from mission partner/intelligence community databases to support 91 COS activities.
  • On-the-Job Training: Provide OJT to contractors, military, and civilian personnel, maintaining continuity folders for efficient personnel transitions.
  • Security Clearance: A Top Secret SCI clearance is required, with a willingness to undergo a Polygraph examination.
  • Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification is necessary.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Defensive Cyber Operations support, comparable to mid-level analyst roles, with sufficient technical knowledge of cyber capabilities and vulnerabilities.
