Donation Station Representative

Job Description:
The City Thrift Tupelo,MS #123 - Tupelo is seeking an experienced On Site Donation Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the donation drive up area, providing exceptional customer service to donors, and safeguarding donations.

About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills. You will work independently or as part of a team to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated customer service skills, planning and organization skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the donation site is set up and maintained in a clean and well-maintained condition
- Provide donors with excellent customer service, including greeting and thanking them, offering to carry their donations, and providing receipts
- Safeguard donations by storing them in the trailer and maintaining a safe and secure environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary: $28,000 - $38,000 per year, depending on experience.
