Position Overview:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of materials and services essential for the manufacturing of medical products. Your role will involve collaborating with suppliers and the production team to ensure seamless operations and adherence to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and issue requests for proposals, assess bids, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to align with organizational goals.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to enhance quality and delivery performance.
  3. Manage purchase orders and prioritize materials to fulfill customer demands efficiently.
  4. Monitor and track purchase orders, addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
  5. Utilize ERP systems to manage material availability and support production schedules.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Production, to facilitate new product launches and manage inventory effectively.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of experience in procurement, planning, or inventory control. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP, is essential.
