Job Description

· Data Quality – Personal Security

· Evaluates system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality.

· Collaborates with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes.

· Runs data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.

· Gathers data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.

· Reports data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.

· Documents processes and maintaining data records.

· Knowledge of Customer Personal Security Processes

· Data Quality Analyst Requirements:

- In-depth knowledge of data quality methods and tests

- Knowledge of Personal Security Clearance Processes (including investigation, adjudication and maintenance processes)

- Experience with statistical packages, such as MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS

- Exceptional analytical skills

- Advanced problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of best practices in data analysis

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Practical experience conditioning large data sets (500k+ rows)

Knowledge of creating/managing Tableau workbooks and visualizations

Responsibilities

• Ensure data quality and integrity across various systems and processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.

• Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to inform business decisions.

• Conduct data analysis and provide insights to stakeholders.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data quality and analysis.

• Participate in the development and maintenance of data quality processes and procedures.

• Work closely with database developers to ensure data collection and storage processes meet business needs.

• Identify and resolve data-related issues and exceptions.

• Develop and maintain knowledge of customer personal security processes and requirements.

• Collaborate with management to prioritize information system needs and inform business decisions.

• Document processes and maintain data records to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 4+ years of experience in data quality, analysis, or related field.

• In-depth knowledge of data quality methods and tests.

• Knowledge of personal security clearance processes (including investigation, adjudication, and maintenance processes).

• Experience with statistical packages (MS Excel, SAS, SPSS).

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Practical experience conditioning large data sets (500k+ rows).
