Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data entry and analysis tasks associated with the Abandoned Mines and Site Cleanup Module (AMSCM) database. This is a unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge system and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input, update, delete, and review AMSCM data in accordance with established procedures.
  • Collaborate with Task Managers and other specialists to translate digital and paper files into data for entry into AMSCM.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inputted environmental data through Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes.
  • Document and improve the overall quality of AMSCM data in collaboration with Task Managers.
  • Generate digital map products using AMSCM-related data.
  • Assist with data sharing and management activities.
  • Coordinate with Task Managers for data management, including reviewing and verifying approximately 130,000 feature records and 60,000 site records for accuracy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience working as a data entry technician.
  • Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High-speed internet access and a reliable computer system.
