Job Overview

Position Available - Culinary Support Specialist

This role involves essential tasks such as arranging dining settings, clearing tables, cleaning kitchenware, assisting culinary staff as necessary, and fulfilling sanitation responsibilities.

Key Duties:

  • Wash, prepare, and organize kitchenware in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare serving carts for meals as needed.
  • Ensure the dining area is tidy and well-kept.
  • Welcome and assist visitors in a courteous and helpful manner (Visitors include residents' families and friends, potential residents and their families, referral sources, vendors, and regulatory representatives).
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine compassion for and a desire to assist seniors
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
  • Food Handlers Permit (as mandated by state law).
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
