Job Summary:

At AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and be able to work under various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer care in line with established evidence-based practices.
• Arrange equipment and offer instructions on its usage to each patient.
• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Maintain daily charting and contribute to the development and updating of respiratory therapy-related policies and procedures.
• Regularly assess equipment requirements and make relevant recommendations.
• Participate in special assignments for respiratory care services, including quality improvement projects and utilization review.

Requirements:

• Graduated from an approved respiratory therapy program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or its predecessor, the Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education (JRCRTE).
• Registration or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• A current and valid RCP license from the California Respiratory Care Board.
• At least twelve (12) consecutive months of performing similar services within the last three (3) years.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED).

Working Conditions:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner will work in a correctional facility setting, providing services to patients under the guidance of the Institution CEO/CME or their assigned representative.

What We Offer:

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing offers a competitive rate of $1,440/40-hours and a 28-week contract.
