Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests to the hotel with a warm and sincere welcome, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
  • Direct guests and vehicles on the front drive, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience.
  • Park and retrieve guest and hotel vehicles, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and customer service.
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel rooms, services, and features, and provide guests with accurate and helpful information.
  • Assist with luggage and provide hotel room orientations, ensuring guests feel comfortable and informed.
  • Deliver amenities and other items to guest rooms, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Follow hotel guidelines and talking points, maintaining a high level of consistency and quality in all interactions.
  • This position may also include driving hotel vehicles off property for short distances to facilitate guest drop-offs and pick-ups, or to retrieve items as requested.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a luxury hotel or customer service environment.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Exceptional guest recovery skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • Enjoy interacting with people in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a team-oriented setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to participate in a learning environment.
  • Must integrate company values throughout all interactions and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Must be dependable and available to work within the resort on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, approximately six hours. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
