Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Inova Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating MRI equipment to capture accurate images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer patient care according to MRI practice standards and ensure optimal department functions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations using standard department protocols and sterile technique.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • Certification as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) in the state of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT.
