JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate for the CFO position must exhibit exceptional leadership and expertise in financial management, operational oversight, strategic financial planning, compliance, and internal controls. The CFO will play a pivotal role in:

Financial Management Responsibilities

  • Materials Management Coordination
  • Dietary Services Management

Communication Responsibilities - Engage directly with the Hospital Management Team, Staff, Physicians, Governing Board, Executive Committees, and Senior Leaders within the organization.

Direct oversight of the following departments:

  • Business Office, including Registration and Scheduling
  • Revenue Cycle, focusing on Charge Capture and Collections
  • Health Information Management
  • Materials Management
  • Dietary Services

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Recent experience in hospital financial management is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years in Revenue Cycle Management and oversight of multiple departments.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required; a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration, along with CPA certification, is preferred.
  • Proven leadership abilities, analytical skills, and proficiency in computer applications are necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
