Job Details

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a reputable school district in the Brush Prairie, Washington area to hire a skilled and passionate speech language pathologist for a contract position. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide high-quality speech and language services that support academic and social development.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings, monitoring and documenting student progress as necessary.
  • Offer training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State license required; WA state license and ESA preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics.
