About the Opportunity

At Soliant, we are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Brush Prairie, Washington.

We offer a part-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, reflecting the local market rate for a highly skilled professional with at least 1+ years of experience in speech therapy.

Job Description

This role involves evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a high school setting. The successful candidate will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with caregivers, families, and other professionals as needed.

  • Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students;
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address these disorders;
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans;
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and communicating with parents and guardians regularly.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, be licensed to practice in Washington, and possess certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, as is knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
