Compensation: $16.00 to $20.50 per hour

Overview:

Under the supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Cook will be responsible for:

  • All facets of meal preparation and service, ensuring food quality aligns with the planned menu, resident preferences, and physician-prescribed therapeutic diets.
  • Implementing proper sanitation and infection control measures to comply with state and federal health regulations.
  • Managing kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in large-scale food preparation within a healthcare environment.

Job Details:

  • Type: Part-Time
  • Schedule: Day Shift, including weekends; approximately sixteen (16) hours per week.
  • Wage Range: $16.00/hr - $20.50/hr, negotiable based on experience.
  • Incentive Pay: $0.15 per year of experience, up to ten (10) years.
  • Weekend Differential: $3.00/hr.
